Van Gogh only felt alive when he was painting.

According to Picasso, "all children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once they grow up.

short, but art is long."

Ernest Hemingway once wrote, " you need to be
hurt like hell to be able to write."

I hurt (physically & emotionally), that's why I paint. I have transformed my pain, thoughts and
feelings, into paintings. I once dreamed to paint a picture. It's been twelve
years since I did my first painting. My life is short and I shall not leave this
world without making a difference to those people I love. Painting is my a
source of comfort when I need solace. A painting can inspire, affect, enthuse
and reassure people more than ten thousand words can. My simple works of art
will forever be reminders of my love for all of you who loved me back, loved me
more, and loved me most. When the time comes that we cannot be together, always
keep me in your heart. I will never leave you. I shall remain in your heart
forever, until we meet again.

It was said that Hemingway's greatest work was written in six words. Paulo Coelho described his life in six words. "Blessed, pilgrim, archer, writer, Internet junkie.". Anonymous wrote,
"immature artists imitate, mature ones steal".

My life in six words..."wife, mother, friend, aspiring visual artist". Art for me in six words ....
"pain, thoughts, feelings, become my paintings".

Betsisanders' wishes...
To laugh as often as I can
To giggle or chuckle
.. not whimper, sob or weep
.. and hope to never shed another tear.
To grab every chance on happiness
To dance to the music that life plays
To sing or hum along with life's melodies
To receive all that life gives me
To accept, even if it breaks my heart
To learn from these heartaches
To grab every opportunity to make myself a better,
more caring and more loving individual,
To gain and benefit from life's blessings
To endure the suffering caused by failed relationships
To bear the pain from the holes in my heart
To allow others to mend and fill up these holes
To heal and forgive fast
To never be angry, hurt, or lonely
To never despair or lose hope
To love more those beautiful persons who love me back
To not fear death, instead ... start living
To want or desire some things
... and let the universe help in obtaining all these wishes
To pray and always be thankful
To someday be with loved ones who have gone ahead
To take my place, my reserved seat, beside my Creator
To be remembered by you
To be kept in your heart always
To know that my purpose and journey
Has brought meaning in your life.
So dear friend, stay safe
When the time comes that I cannot be with you
Keep me in your heart
.... remember me in every drop of rain
That's me, crying ... every teardrop comes from my loving heart.

Dear Lord, May everything I do or say, be a reflection of your love.
I offer you my creations because they can only come from you. Amen.
