... a work in progress

What I learned today... 
       ..... "God is real. Faith works." Devon Franklin 
... and that, We are all a work in progress.

At the end of Super Soul Sunday,  they featured the Art of Bonsai and showed an elderly man trimming  bonsai trees. Some of the trees are hundreds of years old. Have lived longer than the old man. The trees were on exhibit at a museum in Chicago.  

The bonsai trees were compared to each one of us. It took years, hundreds of years, for these trees to become beautiful, and they are still being trimmed, groomed, taken cared of 'til today. They are still a work in progress. Just like you and me,  we are work in progress.

This too is a work in progress ... I hope to finish this painting one day ....
