Monsees

Monsees Bakeshop is located in Katipunan, White Plains. Just look for the two red doors! I have always wanted to try this place for a looong time but never did, until this afternoon. Son and I came from NAIA, where we dropped off the hubby.

Monsees has an assortment of breads, muffins, doughnuts, bagettes, even bread sticks. I tried the strawberry cream cheese muffin Php 85 and it was soft (even if i ate it cold), not too sweet, but needed a little more strawberry on top. I really liked their grilled cheese sandwich, which was served with a side salad, Php 165. Son ordered the omelet with sausage, spinach and mushrooms, also served with a side salad and some toasted french bread. Also good but needed a little kick or some herb for spice and flavor.
