cynthia's nth birthday at friday's & swensen's

the travel buddies got together for cynthia's, ms google (as jannette calls her) nth birthday at friday's in eastwood. we had a very late lunch or merienda cena of chicken caezar salad, friday's appetizer sampler, cheese burger, cajun shrimp n chicken pasta, chicken fingers and
onion soup.

we usually split the bill and treat the birthday celebrant, but this time,
cynthia said she will foot the bill. thanks so much cynthia. i should
have ordered some baby back ribs , even if i don't really like ribs

angela had to leave early because it was also jack's birthday (her
youngest boy) and needed to pick him up at the ateneo. malu left too,
for st paul pasig. motherly duties. ulirang ina sila !

the rest of the ladies did a little shopping at M&S , because they had
lots of items on sale.Dorothy Perkins also had some sale items. .. and i
found a really cute tote, super cheap! you should have seen what the
other girls bought. Grabe sila!!!!

Treated the girls at Swensen's ice cream house after our little shopping
spree. it felt like heaven. the swensen's shop here is a lot better than
the one in cambodia. it is cooler, cleaner, decorated beautifully, and they had cute little glasses with pretty prints. the ice ceam is not that
creamy! (bar dolci's gelato is more delicious)

swensen's ice cream parlor reminds me of magnolia house, where we
used to eat after class (in high school)... where i used to see paulinians
in their uniforms, bawal yun!..(buti na lang i didn't give demerits... e di dapat i'll give myself demerits too... HA! / where the girls met their boyfriends, or they just chat noisily with their barkadas, and EAT! "black
and white', strawberry parfait, bananasplit, peach melba, chocolate cobblers... etc etc etc..

SWENSEN'S .. BRINGS BACK HAPPY MEMORIES OF HIGH SCHOOL DAYS .... yum yum yum :}
