Dr. R invited us to his farm in Tagaytay for Sunday BBQ.
When we left Marikina at exactly 9AM this morning (Cesbau was right on time, American time)... it was bright & sunny. Shortly after lunch, nimbus clouds brought in the heavy downpour. Again, the 'rains' (if only there's spelling & grammar check here, or is there?... i wouldn't have spelled it with an s, but i do like the sound of rain with the s at the end. Never mind if it isn't correct)... anyway, we were again trapped , stranded, under the tent for more than an hour. Luckily, I brought the folding umbrella that I bought the other day at the Ayala hub, it kept Alvin Boyet and me dry.

Dr. R ... my friend since 1978 =]=]=] .. he is 8 Track's lead keyboard player and band leader. . .In the late 70's he had a 'combo' named "Martrix Band. (I was fortunate enough to be part of the band even if I didn't play very well =[. that's what friends are for.=]) he was also our guitarist, marimba player, and lead male vocalist during our yearly Christmas caroling 'gigs'.
You've come a long way , my friend, ... playing the piano ,not just professionally, but playing for the very rich and the very famous. Music is your passion.

Thank you for the sumptuous and 'triglyceride'- laden lunch =]=]=] We had a wonderful, cool, "ranny"... oops ...rainy and fun afternoon at your beautiful, tranquil, private, secluded farm.
Happy birthday sir =] May you have more fun birthdays to come.. and we, your good 'old' friends, be there to count them. .... fun fun fun... love love love...... =]=]=]
