Ma'am, we don't have roast duck, we have roast goose!

"If you write your thoughts 15 minutes a day, you will eventually lose weight." It was an experiment conducted on some high school students, who were asked to write on their journals daily for 15 minutes and were weighed at the end of each day. Results show that the participants lost weight.

Son said, "mom, they have duck!" yehey, finally! I called the waiter and ordered their roast duck served two ways. The waiter said, "ma'am wala pong roast duck, pero meron po kaming roast goose." ( ano daw? Nakakalowka! , i thought.) Hubby said " Diba pareho yung goose sa duck?" ... Hindi daw. Okay, Goose Kung goose, "bigyan mo kami ng roast goose"....  this quest for a peking duck is giving me 'goose bumps!

We ordered steamed pork xiao long bao, ;( (crystal jade is better, this one had very little soup inside) spicy beef noodles, ( i don't eat spicy foods & their noodles were cold) fried spring rolls ( Pho hoa's spring rolls are better) the roast goose ( had tofu underneath, was soggy , pricey at Php 450). ... I ordered this funny looking siopao for myself. It looked like huge white lips with a slice of roast pork and some weird looking veggies & leeks inside, which I removed because they tasted bad!

Only nice thing about Lugang Cafe is the posh, cozy elegant interiors, (the comfy chairs, the fancy lighting, 'zen-like architecture'), and it being part of the Bellagio chain of restaurants. Oh, my son liked the music,............ Boyet and I promise never to go back to Lugang Cafe... Sooner or later they might just rename it Luging Cafe. But for now, people flock to this place and is jam-packed most of the time. But when we went there, only about 8 to 10 people were inside the restaurant. . . . There goes the 15 minutes of writing and if I eat at Lugang Cafe, I'd probably lose a lot of weight!
