Blast from the Past / July 8, 2009

Reunions ... get togethers... seeing classmates after 26 years... really a blast from the past.

Alex Santos --- used to carpool with him during college days. The original Fil-Am, who spoke Filipino with an American accent, slang na slang. I remember him as a very playful person. He used to tickle Cesbau until Ces fell on the floor :) ha ha ha ... Alex has always been 'so in love' with Tess.

Tess Cuajunco-Santos --- I remember Tess as the most sosyal girl in Dentistry. First met her in UP Diliman when she joined PDA (Pre Dental Association). She was in charge of 'socials committee'. Tess is very humble, charming, sweet and soft spoken. ... such a lovely lady.

Rey Estrella --- host of the party. His home is the "official party place of Class 83". I have never been to his place and now that I had the chance to go, I couldn't ... was down with a fever. ;( Was really looking forward to attending the party that I organized, but.... didn't want to infect everyone with this mild viral infection. But thanks so much Rey and Ronnie (Rey's lovely wife) for always hosting our parties.

Jacqui Uy --- the busiest and most hardworking. Where does she get all the energy to practice dentistry, manage a business and at the same time raise a family?

Ranny --- used to be my drinking, smoking and "takas" buddy in college. I remember driving up to Baguio with him, so he can meet up with his girlfriend. I also remember being a chaperon when he needed to go to Chico's house. We would go caroling every Christmas, and by New Year, we'd divide the earnings amongst ourselves.   Ranny... my friend, the musician, pianist, singer, performer, restaurateur, business man and very successful periodontist. Hope to watch your band again at Strumms.

[I've written about Cesbau, Ned, Lilet and Boyet in my other blog entries. my BFF's, for life!]

I really missed the 'kwentos' and fun last night :( There will always be another reunion and next time, I'll make sure I don't get sick.
